Undergraduate Admission Test – UAT Exam
The Undergraduate Admission Test aka UAT Exam is an aptitude test designed to assess candidates who wish to pursue undergraduate studies at preferred Universities. Universities that accept candidates this way are AAU, ASTU, AASTU, and SIT (Shaggar Institute of Technology). Its purpose is to gauge candidates’ verbal and quantitative reasoning abilities, which are considered crucial indicators of their potential for success in the above Universities’ undergraduate programs. The test is divided into two main sections: verbal reasoning (55 items) and quantitative reasoning (45 items). The first section includes two domains: reading, writing, and language. The second section consists of four domains: heart of algebra, problem-solving, data analysis, transition to advanced math, and additional topics in math. In total, the test covers 100 multiple-choice questions with four options.

Scoring
- For AAU: Upon test completion, the test takers will be able to access their raw score, T-score, and percentile rank. These metrics will offer a comprehensive assessment of their performance in relation to the normative group, enabling test takers to evaluate their position and make well-informed decisions based on their results. However, test takers must wait for the passing score for the UAT test. This score will be announced on the AAU website and the Testing Center’s telegram channel.
- For ASTU and AASTU: The test takers can check the official websites of both Universities by logging in using their credentials and see whether they passed the exam.
Reporting
- For AAU: Test takers can access their UAT results certificate digitally. To enhance authenticity and verification, a QR code and a URL to the IER Testing Center will be included. By scanning the QR code or visiting the URL, test takers or relevant parties can easily validate the certificate’s authenticity. This helps to ensure that the results are genuine and issued by the authorized testing centers. The QR code or URL link also provides additional information if needed, offering a comprehensive and transparent verification process.
- For ASTU and AASTU: The test takers can check the official websites of both Universities by logging in using their credentials and see whether they passed the exam. If the test taker scored a passing point, their result is displayed on the website as “You are eligible to attend ASTU“; otherwise, “You are not eligible to attend ASTU“.
